Australian Woolshed, Cairns
This was the first time ever we visited an Australian place having koalas, we had just arrived in Cairns and the first thing
we did (after sleeping) was go the Woolshed. They were so cute...
The Australian Woolshed is located north of Cairns and also gives demonstrations on shaving sheep. It is worth a visit. The koala
houses are too artificial, but you are able to get quite close and you even have the opportunity to have a picture taken of you
and a koala.
